The Recon BRO Scout uses a direct impingement gas system, has a low profile adjustable gas block, and a Nickel Boron-coated BCG. It has a billet 7075 T6 aluminum upper and lower receiver, single-stage drop-in trigger with a 3.5-lb. pull. The Recon BRO Scout also has a 416R stainless steel barrel and a 15 M-Lok handguard.
This 5.56 model has 16 barrel with flash suppressor, Magpul MOE grip, Mission First Tactical Minimalist buttstock, and a Smiths gray metal finish.
