Taylors and Company has reproduced the 1872 Open-Top Early Model Conversion Revolver in .45 Long Colt. This pistol has a 7-1/2 round barrel, Navy size walnut grip with brass back strap and trigger guard. It comes with a front blade sight and a rear sight placed on the rear of the barrel. This model weighs 2.51lbs and holds 6 rounds. This is a reproduction of the new model Colt manufactured that were not from cut cylinders but designed to accept a modern cartridge.
