Description
Taylors and Company reproduction of the C. Mason Revolver. With patents for the conversion of percussion revolvers, Colt employees Charles Richards and William Mason cut off the cap-and-ball cylinders at the back and installed a conversion ring to accept cartridges. These conversion revolvers were favorites then and are enjoying popularity again as part of the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting. This revolver has a case hardened frame with blue finish. It comes with walnut Navy size grips, brass back strap and trigger guard, Octagonal barrel and brass post front sight.
