The Beretta PM-12 is a select-fire submachine gun chambered in 9x19mm, renowned for its smooth operation and exceptional controllability. This pre-May 1986 dealer sample features a unique open-bolt design, multiple safeties (including a grip safety and flip switch), and adjustable sights with a flip-up peep for 100m/200m ranges. Its rail-guided bolt ensures reliability, while the side-folding stock offers compact handling.
Used by Italian military and police forces, the M12S gun has seen global service since 1959. With a 550 RPM rate of fire and push-pin disassembly, it includes three high-capacity magazines. This example is in excellent condition and qualifies as a “keeper” under pre-1986 NFA regulations.
