The Ruger Precision Rifle is built for accuracy, and that starts with the barrel. It features a medium-contour, cold hammer-forged, chrome-moly steel barrel with 5R rifling – a .75″ at the muzzle – and a Ruger Precision Rifle Hybrid Muzzle Brake to help manage recoil without blasting your ears. This setup minimizes side blast, which is helpful when shooting from a fixed position or alongside others at the range.
