This is a WWII Savage Thompson with proper inspector marks and the ordnance proof on the receiver. The barrel indexes both still line up. Bore is mint with sharp lands and grooves, no bulges here ! At some point it had to be amnesty registered(sorry no papers) because there are “XXX”‘ed out IRS numbers on the receiver(you can see them with a loop). Sorry the lower does not match the upper. A true and honest WWII gun that saw action !
